This website is owned and operated by Emma J. Browne, publishing as Mojo House Press ("I", "me"). This policy explains what personal information I collect through emmajbrowne.com and how I use it.
What I collect
When you fill in a form on this site (such as the ARC sign-up), I may collect your name, email address, reading preferences, and—if you choose to share them—links to your social media or reviewer profiles. I also receive standard technical information (such as cookies and basic analytics) collected by Wix, the platform this site runs on.
How I use it
I use your information to: deliver advance reader copies and related updates; send my email newsletter, bonus content, and book news (only if you've opted in); select and manage ARC readers; and, where you've given permission, quote your review in marketing materials. I will never sell your personal information.
Who processes it
Your information is handled by the services I use to run my author business: Wix (website and forms), MailerLite (email newsletter), and BookFunnel (book delivery). Each processes your data on my behalf under their own privacy and security policies.
Your choices and rights
Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing emails immediately. You can also ask me at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to withdraw any consent you've given (including permission to quote your review). To do so, contact me over email. I handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws; readers in the EU/UK have these rights under the GDPR.
Retention
I keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete it when it's no longer required or when you ask me to.
Audience
This site promotes books intended for adult readers, and is not directed at children under 18. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here with a new date.
